The Center for Homeless and Neglected Youth is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending teenage and young adult homelessness in southern Nevada.  Our Building Blocks for Life program offers life skills enhancement courses to assist aging-out foster care clients transition into independence.  In addition, we will offer all of our clients the opportunity to participate in our supportive services and skill-building programs which are possible due to partnerships with over 100 local business owners and local professionals.

Our aim is to introduce our clients to the vast array of potential careers while building true skill sets that, in our belief, build not only their resumes but their self-esteem.  Many of our clients will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with dedicated professionals who understand the needs of our clients.  They will also provide 1-on-1 mentoring to our youth and young adults.  Many of our supporters have attended mandatory workshops that discuss the challenges our clients have and will face. Our supporters have accepted the challenge to make a difference!

It is a privilege to make this program available to Clark County's youth and young adults.
