The Center for Homeless and Neglected Youth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization dedicated to ending teenage and young adult homelessness in
southern Nevada.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide housing assistance, mentoring, independent
living skills education, vocational training/apprenticeship opportunities, and case management for
homeless and at-risk teens and young adults, ages 17.5 – 24, while promoting self-reliance,
community involvement, and personal accountability.
Vision
Our vision is to become a leader
in teen homelessness advocacy; building a greater capacity to serve
homeless and at-risk youth by increasing community awareness and by
providing a higher level of service for the homeless population in
southern Nevada.
Goal
Our goal is to increase community
awareness and involvement through collaborative efforts; and partnering
with local business and civic leaders to gain long-term community support.
